Joining is an expression of interest. It does not guarantee selection, funding, program participation or any agricultural outcome.
Different capability is needed at different stages.

Potential field research, habitat trials, crop validation and practical land-management input.
Researchers & advisers
Experimental design, taxonomy, ecology, crop-pollination measurement, statistics and review.
Government & industry
Research collaboration, biosecurity, extension, co-funding and policy alignment.
Philanthropy & funding
Catalytic anchor funding and staged support for evidence generation.
Equipment & technical
Machinery, water, energy, monitoring, construction, logistics and professional capability.
Native-bee observers
Structured observations and local knowledge where relevant to an approved research process.
Start with a simple expression of interest.
Initial participation should not require extensive historical yield records or commercially sensitive data. Detailed information should be requested later only where a defined research protocol actually requires it.
No yield guarantee
Participation does not imply that native habitat will increase crop yield. Nomia's purpose is to determine whether measurable complementary benefits exist, for which crops and conditions, and at what practical cost.
Keep the first contact proportionate.
The form should collect only the information required to understand who you are and how you may wish to participate.
Recommended initial fields
Organisation/farm, name, email, phone, locality/state/postcode, participation type, main crops or capability, optional property area and a short description of possible involvement.

Potential participants can be identified early, but research commitments should follow scientific relevance, approvals, resources and appropriate agreements.
Participation should strengthen the evidence, not predetermine it.

Government Evidence: The Damage Is Already Being Felt
The consequences of Varroa destructor in Australia are no longer merely projections. Australian government agencies are documenting impacts on beekeepers, hive numbers, pollination services and the effectiveness of available Varroa treatments.

Individual reports of hive loss, treatment resistance, increased pollination cost or crop impact should not automatically be treated as national averages. Nomia distinguishes documented current impacts from credible future risks and relies wherever possible on primary government and scientific evidence.
