Help Build Australia’s Native Bee Resilience Infrastructure
Nomia Bee Australia Foundation Limited is seeking practical support to establish and operate its native bee nursery and field demonstration program.
Support does not need to be limited to cash. Machinery, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, infrastructure, transport and professional assistance can all make a valuable contribution.
Nomia has already secured a nursery site at Coleambally, NSW 2707. The site is intended to support large-scale native bee habitat establishment, nursery development, observation, testing and field operations.
Equipment support may also assist future roadside testing and demonstration sites, subject to landholder, council, safety and regulatory approvals.
Why Equipment Support Matters
Nomia is working to develop and demonstrate practical native bee habitat systems that can contribute to Australia’s long-term sovereign pollination resilience.
Moving from planning into field operations requires substantial machinery, equipment and site infrastructure.
Every useful item donated or supplied at a discount can reduce establishment costs and allow more funding to be directed into native bee habitat, monitoring and field deployment.
Equipment and Support Needed
Nomia would be extremely grateful to hear about any equipment, materials or practical assistance that may be available.
Current needs include:
This list is not exhaustive.
Other equipment, materials or services may also be useful.
New and Used Equipment Is Welcome
New Equipment
New machinery, tools, materials and infrastructure can directly support site establishment and long-term operations.
Used or Surplus Equipment
Used, older or surplus equipment may be just as valuable, provided it can be used safely or reasonably repaired and maintained.
Please do not assume that an item is too old, too small or not valuable enough to offer. Even basic tools, materials, spare equipment or repairable machinery may help move the project forward.
Nomia welcomes offers of:
- new equipment
- used or surplus equipment
- equipment requiring reasonable repairs or maintenance
- discounted equipment and materials
- spare parts and consumables
- transport and delivery support
- professional or trade services
- volunteer site-establishment assistance
We will work with each donor to understand what is available and whether it can be put to practical use. Nomia appreciates every genuine offer of support.
How Donated Equipment May Be Used
Support Australia’s Pollination Future
This is a large-scale native bee resilience initiative being developed on a 257-acre agricultural site, with the intention of creating practical systems that may eventually be replicated across regional Australia.
